SolRád was founded by Chef Teo Montoya

& partner in all things, business and life, Mel Montoya, on a sidewalk infront of a coffee shop in their hometown of Whittier, CA.

In 2023 the couple made the jump to bring Sol to BLVD MRKT. There the duo would work together creating a buzz across LA and the OC, gaining recognition for their ​QuesaBurger (listed as one of the most ICONIC burgers in LA by the LA Times), and their 'WORLD FAMOUS BREAKFAST BURRITOS'

which  includes their stand out Bulls Head Barbacoa burrito (awarded

by LA Mag as the "Best Breakfast Burrito in LA").

 

Off the back of their success, Chef Montoya and team have broadened their culinary palate to cater to diverse tastes across

Southern California, distributing their renowned breakfast burritos

at local establishments such as Coffee Drunk in Long Beach

and Portola Coffee Roasters in Costa Mesa.

 

The team at Sol stands firm in their belief of

genuine hospitality always, evolution by innovation,

community driven action and creating an environment

of transparency and care. We feel unbelievably privileged

and are extremely grateful to be able to do what we love.
